Omni Research Symposium (Rules)
Participants are tasked with writing a ~2,000 word research report on one of four technical subtopics related to chain abstraction.
Categories
Research must focus on one of the four following areas:
Value Accrual in a Chain-Abstracted World
Grading
Reports will be graded by representatives from Omni and Pantera Capital. High-quality reports will cover the topics in novel ways rather than just explaining what they are. Reports will be graded on:
Novelty
Novelty of the report's approach and insight
Data
Incorporation of real data in the analysis
Accuracy
Accuracy of technical explanations
Writing
Style and quality of the report's writing
Reports should be data-driven, involve practical analysis, and can include visualizations to help illustrate concepts discussed.
Partners
The symposium's research partners consist of top companies and protocols in the chain-abstraction space
Representatives from these partners will be available to participants to help guide their research (ask the leader of your school's blockchain club to gain access to the Telegram group)
Prizes
At the conclusion of the competition, one winner will be selected from each of the four participating schools. Each winner will earn:

$1,000 in OMNI tokens
Platform
The chance to discuss their findings on an Omni Twitter space
Publicity
Promotion across Omni's social channels with 1M+ members
Resume
The ability to list Omni as a resume reference
